Iowa Transfer Cordell Pemsl Commits To Virginia Tech

Following the sudden conclusion of the 2019-'20 season, Hawkeye fans got some disappointing news as forward Cordell Pemsl announced his intentions to transfer. And while the decision made sense given the team's likely returning depth, it was still disappointing to see.

And since Pemsl announced his move, fans have been waiting to see where he would land. Well, that news finally broke. Pemsl will be heading to Virginia Tech next season:


Who knows what Pemsl will do at his new landing spot, but Hawkeye fans will certainly wish him the best moving forward.

Iowa Basketball Offers 2022 Power Forward Riley Mulvey

The COVID-19 pandemic might have brought the sports world to a halt, but things are still active on the recruiting trail. Fran McCaffery is still making moves and decided to put out a new offer in the 2022 cycle to forward Riley Mulvey.



Mulvey comes out of Albany, New York and is currently unrated by 247Sports. He is listed at 6-foot-10 and is a player that's starting to get more high-major attention. Along with Iowa, Mulvey also has offers from Siena and UMass among others. There are currently no crystal ball entries on 247Sports regarding his recruitment.

Iowa Basketball Offers 2023 Point Guard Simeon Wilcher

The COVID-19 pandemic might have brought the sports world to a halt, but things are still active on the recruiting trail. Fran McCaffery is still making moves and decided to put out a new offer in the 2023 cycle to guard Simeon Wilcher.


Wilcher comes out of Roselle, New Jersey and is currently unrated by 247Sports. He is listed at 6-foot-2 and 165 pounds and seems like a player that could move up in the months to come. Along with Iowa, Wilcher also has offers from Auburn, St. John's, UCLA, and Xavier among others. There are currently no crystal ball entries on 247Sports regarding his recruitment.
